Beth is the Executive Director at Hillsborough Metropolitan Planning Organization and leads an award-winning team of planners with a long-range vision of a transportation system that is safe and efficient for all. 

Ann Foss

Ph.D., AICP | Principal Planner

Ann has been with the City of Arlington since 2016 and currently serves as the Principal Planner for the Office of Strategic Initiatives. As Principal Planner, Ann performs comprehensive planning for the City and is heavily involved in transportation planning for the City, securing grant funding and pilot new technologies, including autonomous vehicles and demand response ride sharing. She is also responsible for managing the Arlington Urban Design Center.

Brian Guenzel

MCRP. City Planner

Brian Guenzel is a Senior Planner for the City of Midlothian, Texas. He has worked in both public health and city planning. His work yielded six journal articles, and he also served as an assistant to the editor for the Journal Epidemiologic Perspectives & Innovations. He has spent more than seven years working in cities as well as eight years as a consultant for cities including three years as the Director of the Institute of Urban Studies.

David Hutchinson

Executive Director of Sarasota/Manatee MPO

David L. Hutchinson serves as Executive Director of the Sarasota/Manatee Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). He is a multidisciplinary generalist and transportation specialist experienced in policy, planning, and public affairs. Davis is a member of the American Planning Association, Institute of Transportation Engineers, and Congress for the New Urbanism.

Muhammad A Khan

Urban Planning Specialist with the Government of Pakistan

Dr. Muhammad A Khan is an experienced urban and transportation planner. He holds a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in Urban Planning from The University of Texas at Arlington. With a specialization in Land Use and Transportation Planning, he has published multiple research papers in esteemed journals. He currently serves as an Urban Planning Specialist with the Government of Pakistan.

John Liu

Deputy District Director, Maintenance and Operations

John has been a champion for traffic engineering at all levels in California as a leader, teacher, and advocate. He has been involved in all aspects of traffic engineering, from the foundation of traffic investigation to sign and striping plans and signal timing and synchronization.

David Weinreich

Postdoctoral Fellow in Urban Governance and Sustainable Transformation

David Weinreich is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Urban Governance and Sustainable Transformation at the University of Bergen. He received his doctorate from the University of Michigan and was a Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow in Israel. His research focuses on understanding transportation governance systems in the US and internationally, particularly the challenges of providing integrated multi-agency services.

James Wood

Project Manager at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport

Dr. James Wood is a project manager in the Environmental Affairs and Sustainability Department at the DFW Airport. He holds a B.A. in History and Geography from The University of Missouri, a Master of Regional and Community Planning from Kansas State University, and a Ph.D. from Florida State University. An active researcher, his interests include transportation policy, qualitative methods, and personal mobility for older adults and people with disabilities.
